Christopher Wigand is of counsel at Asselta Law’s Florida office, handling school injury cases. Throughout his entire legal career, Mr. Wigand has handled all types of personal injury matters, successfully litigating hundreds of catastrophic cases resulting in over 100 million dollars in jury verdicts.
Many of those cases have involved injuries sustained in school settings. Whether public, private or charter, Mr. Wigand’s extensive knowledge of personal injury law, coupled with his understanding and experience in dealing with unique issues related to schools, make him well suited to help the needs of Asselta Law’s clientele.
Christopher grew up in Florida and attended college at Auburn University. He attended law school in South Florida where he held a position on the Board of Editors of the Moot Court Society, and competed on the Moot Court Society traveling team. Upon graduation Christopher worked for a firm that specialized in civil litigation where he devoted his practice to helping victims of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse. He then became a partner in a new firm where he continued to handle all types of personal injury cases, including cases involving schools. When he eventually opened his own office, Christopher continued to focus on state-wide representation of injury cases, which included handling cases against schools in numerous counties throughout Florida.
